Interwar Peak (1918–1945) · Muffin Pan
Used price$70–$150live on eBay
An 11-cup muffin (gem) pan from Favorite Stove & Range Co. of Piqua, Ohio, roughly 11 by 7⅝ inches and about 1⅝ inches deep. Eleven cups was a common layout across several makers, including Wagner and Griswold, so the Piqua Ware mark on the back is what identifies a Favorite pan; unmarked 11-cup pans can't be attributed from the cup layout alone. Marked Favorite gem pans are much harder to find than Wagner or Griswold equivalents. Before buying: confirm the Piqua Ware mark in a clear photo, hold the pan up to light and check every cup for a through-crack (which takes roughly 40–60% off the value), check the frame and handles for cracks, and treat carbon in the cups as cosmetic. Bread-stick and corn pans by Favorite also turn up and are different items.
Common defects to inspect
Through-crack in a cup; cracked frame or handle; unmarked 11-cup pans attributed to Favorite; mark softened by cleaning

How to identify a real Favorite Stove
FAVORITE PIQUA WARE in an arc or block layout, often with a curved "smiley" line underneath, plus a size number that may carry a letter (8A); some pans add BEST TO COOK IN, and some carry the MIAMI diamond. Puritan-marked pieces were made for Sears. The bare word Favorite without Piqua is not proof of this maker.
Buying guide
From Sep 25, 2026 listings
No Favorite Piqua-Ware 11-cup muffin pan is listed right now; the only Favorite pan the search turned up is a restored cornstick-style bread pan, a different piece. When one appears, look for the Piqua-Ware mark on the back, since restoration can wear it faint, and ask for close photos or a shot held up to light to check all 11 cups for through-cracks, which cost 40–60% of the value. A saved eBay search is the realistic way to catch one.

Heat-resistant silicone for greasing the inside of every muffin or cornstick cavity before bake. Lasts longer than natural-bristle and dishwasher-safe.
