Interwar Peak (1918–1945) · Muffin Pan
Used price$60–$75live on eBay
Wagner's 11-cup pans are sold as muffin, popover and cornbread pans. The two numbers seen most often are 1323 (often with a B, a pan of about 11¼ by 7⅝ inches, generally dated to the 1920s) and the open-frame 1337 (often marked S, generally 1930s). Eleven cups was a common layout across makers — Griswold's No. 10 popover pan also has 11 — so the cup count alone doesn't identify a Wagner. Many pans in this search are unmarked and can't be confirmed as Wagner from the pan alone. Before buying: hold the pan to the light and check every cup for a through-crack, the one flaw that ruins it; check the frame and handles for cracks; and treat carbon in the cups as cosmetic. Plated pans flake and are project pieces. Aluminum pans and 8- or 12-cup pans in the same search are different items.
Common defects to inspect
Through-crack in a cup; cracked frame or handle; unmarked pans attributed to Wagner; plating; copied titles across several sellers
Note: Most listings ask about $60–75 delivered; unmarked pans sell lower.
How to identify a real Wagner Ware
Stylized Wagner Ware Sidney -O- logo on the bottom with a four-digit catalog number (1058 on the No. 8 skillet, 1059 on the No. 9) and a mold letter; earlier pans show a plain WAGNER or Wagner Ware mark with SIDNEY O. and a size number. Later pieces read Wagner Ware with MADE IN USA. Magnalite pieces are aluminum, not iron.
Buying guide
From Oct 1, 2026 listings
44 Wagner 11-cup muffin and popover pans are listed, most about $60–75 delivered. The marked pans in the titles show 1323 or 1337 (some 1337 S), and many are unmarked, which can't be confirmed as Wagner from the pan alone. Check every cup for a through-crack, the one flaw that ruins the pan; carbon in the cups is cosmetic and bakes out. Seven sellers use the same copied title, so compare photos, and plated pans are display pieces, not bakers. Aluminum and 8- or 12-cup pans in the same search are different items.

About $42 delivered with Best Offer from a 100% seller, the lowest total by about $12. It's unmarked, so you're buying the 11-cup pattern, not a confirmed Wagner; ask for photos of each cup to rule out cracks.

Our take
Plated 1337 S at about $54, the price of a bare marked pan; peeling plating in the cups is a baking problem.

Heads-up: priced high
Priced high: about $167 delivered for a nickel-finish pan, over twice the usual price; it suits display more than baking.
