Interwar Peak (1918–1945) · Cornbread Pan
Used price$30–$45live on eBay
Wagner made corn stick pans for decades. The early ones were sold as "Krusty Korn Kobs" and carry a July 6, 1920 patent date — the No. 1319 "Junior" is the one seen most often. Later seven-stick pans are marked Wagner Ware with "Made in USA" and a mold letter such as K or C, and some sellers date those to the 1960s; they bake just as well and cost less. Wagner's small tea-size pans are a separate item, and the tea-size No. 1317 is one of the pans that has been reproduced — fakes show rough casting and wrong numbers such as 1318 or 1818. Before buying any of them: count the cavities, hold the pan to the light to check each one for a through-crack, look at the kernel detail (crisp is better; aggressive restoration softens it), and treat rust on the back as cosmetic. Plated and aluminum Wagner corn pans, and 11- or 12-stick pans, also appear in these searches and are different items.
Common defects to inspect
Cracked stick cavity; softened kernel detail; plating; reproductions of the tea-size pan with rough casting and wrong numbers; aluminum pans mixed into searches
Note: Most seven-stick Wagner pans ask about $30–45 delivered, and several sell under $25.
How to identify a real Wagner Ware
Stylized Wagner Ware Sidney -O- logo on the bottom with a four-digit catalog number (1058 on the No. 8 skillet, 1059 on the No. 9) and a mold letter; earlier pans show a plain WAGNER or Wagner Ware mark with SIDNEY O. and a size number. Later pieces read Wagner Ware with MADE IN USA. Magnalite pieces are aluminum, not iron.
Buying guide
From Oct 1, 2026 listings
36 Wagner Ware seven-stick cast iron cornstick pans were listed at the late-September check, most at $30–45 delivered and several under $25. None of the titles gives a pattern number; most read Made in USA with a K or C mold letter, and two sellers date theirs to the 1960s. Wagner's early corn-stick pans were sold as Krusty Korn Kobs with a July 6, 1920 patent date, so if you want an early one, ask for a photo of the back. On any of them, count seven cavities, look for through-cracks in each, and prefer crisp kernel detail. The tea-size, junior (No. 1319), 11- and 12-stick, aluminum and glass pans are different pans.

About $16 delivered, Buy It Now, from a 99.8% seller, the lowest total by about $5, with a K mold mark. The catch is that the title says it needs restoration; check each cavity for cracks in the photos.
